I really love that character of yours!
And thank you for the bonus material, too!

AntonM responds:

thank u!

Unbelievable! I more than appreciate the work and time you put into this strangely beautiful symbiosis of mechanics, men and nature!

Glaot responds:

Damn, thank you so much! But I really gotta tone it down for the next one. Got some advice from a friend so expect me to upload a couple smaller drawings inbetween full illustrations from here on.

I prefer the coloured version here. The black and white one is definitely lacking some background and hence looks just like a work in progress.
For the creature I wonder if it is eating humans or if the skull and hand is part of this creature. But overall it has a certain beauty I find very appealing.

Glaot responds:

Yeah, this image was definately supposed to be completed with colours unlike the wastelander which was more indecisive. But I like seeing artists show off uncoloured lineart as alot of it gets lost under the colours and polish.
Thanks again for the feedback.

At first glance i had a thought of wtf? Then I wondered, if this pictures shows a dream or another dimension maybe?

And then I took a closer look at the details. We are locking up nature in our homes where we let her die. Just like the insects caught in the lampshade or the plants in the vase wilting.
But then nature also conquers our homes at the same time, cracking up the walls and spilling through doors, with us being so small within it.
With the figure entering from the back I was wondering the longest, but then I imagined her being a plant who learned to walk like a human. Her hair seems to resemble a face which could either be interpreted as angry or just happy.

Or maybe the whole scene is only just a simple nightmare with everything stretching weirdly. Still I wonder what the person with the camera is seeing this very moment.

AntonM responds:

thanks for taking the time to write this, I loved reading your interpretation :)))

The coloured one has quite some depth and adds a touch of being lost onto the dead soldier.
The plain one is telling a tale of the cold death roaming wars, producing unknown soldiers who gave their lives for nothing productive.
None of those images is better, it is just a matter of what you want to say with them.
Personally I prefer... both!

Glaot responds:

Yeah, i believe your right. All i've heard from others is that neither is better, so from here so long as it doesn't affect the quality, i'll let the narrative drive the creative decisions. Cheers for your feedback.
